Santa Ana Valley is going to defeat Anaheim this upcoming week.
Tustin should be above Western with Western above Canyon. Tustin beat Western who beat Canyon. Makes sense.
Also, they need to look beyond the win-loss record of a team. Maybe then La Habra would be ranked #1.
Who else has played pac 5 teams.other than La Habra? those 2 loses should be points for not against,when ranking them!
If La Habra shuts down Allain (I MEAN FULLERTON) on Nov. 7th than they will be #1, Ol’ ball coach is correct in saying those points should count for them. I have been critical of La Habra in the past playing weak teams but now I have been able to watch them this year and with the toughness they showed against Los Al and San Clemente they should be #2, if not #1 with Fullerton playing real hard. They shouldn’t be ranked on just win/loss, and La Habra has blown their competition out of the water besides the 2 top ten teams they played. But Fullerton’s only weapon is Allain the running back, I haven’t seen anyone else do anything on that team and La Habra’s rush defense is really good…

Eldo cant even be mentioned this year. Watch out for Tustin they are gonna make a run , too.
Valencia lost to Western with their front Denfensive Line sitting on the sidelines againts Western, Mr. Ortegega of Western could not have gotten a nicer gift. Valencia also has a lot of young talent that had only 1 Varsity game under their belt they now have 6 games under their belt they have mattured as true Varsity players . Valencia is not about one big name or stats Valencia uses “TEAM” work and a strong D that keeps matturing each game. Valencia last two loses where at Handel Stadium Western this year and were within an eyebrow of beating Cypress last year in the semi finals if they can Defeat Cypress this Thursday at Handel Stadium they will be a tuff “TEAM” to stop.
SA valley is going to beat anaheim. anaheim struggled against savanna and savanna is not a great team this year. Anaheim barely egded them out.

I’m not saying La Habra is a bad team because they are a very good team.
I think Foothill and La Habra should be 1-2 because Foothill has beaten a division one school.
La Habra hasn’t.
Also Foothill beat Canyon, who beat Fullerton.
La Habra’s losses shouldn’t count against them I agree.
But they are losses none the less.
this a wild but pretty well balanced division. but cant see fullerton at #1 when they had lost to #6 canyon and #2 valencia lost to #5 western. does not make sense. hey kids….every week counts! that being said, foothill and la habra should be tied at #1 for now. the rest should look like this: #3 valencia, #4 fullerton, #5 western, #6 canyon and #7 tustin. makes better sense.
when are people going to realize that anaheim, loara, and sunny hills are horrible teams. does no one know that Anaheim lost to Katella or is everyone looking past that? Loara has played some of the worst teams in the county and will probably lose their next 4 games, they maybe can beat kennedy but thats about it. And Sunny Hills? sunny hills? I really dont even need to say anything except sunny hills.
SA Valley and Anaheim don’t stand a chance in this division. They both lost to a Garden Grove team! in consecutive weeks! Can’t get any worse. Legit40, u’ll beat anaheim cuz you managed to score on Santiogos d.

Villa Park should be in the rankings. They are 3-3 and 1-0 in League. And coming off a 1-9 season. Watch out for VP.
LOL yeah watch out!!! C’mon eldohawks#6….the Hawks are still pretty good. You’re just not invincible anymore. When Wilson can hit his recievers you guys are unstopable. Canyon has a fairly decent secondary, judging by the way they defended against Bonita, but Wilson picked them apart in the last few minutes of the Canyon-El Dorado game. I think that El Dorado can really make a run if the passing game gains some momentum. Unless lightning strikes two more times, El Dorado will make playoffs, then these ranking don’t mean a thing. El Dorado’s problem is that they are used to walking through league. Welcome to real life post Wilson-Laurenzi.
Canyons QB did a good job of “picking them apart” as well. Yes the defense let up a bit…but Canyons offense kept answering back to the Hawks scores.
Villa Park will not be ranked, because they wont be but a third place seed if they can win 2 of their next 4 . And then lose in the first round . Villa park has a good D but no O.And coaches that only care about wins and not about kids.

we are so used to being invincable all this is new to us. but we are a humble team and understand we can’t win it all. Valencia, Glendora, Canyon, Fullerton all could’ve been won easily and anyone who saw those games knows it. watch out for next years team though.
hAwKeR…I did see the Canyon game and you are right…..if you played the entire game like you played the last 3 minutes it may have turned out different. But a fottball game does consist of 4 quarters and the outcome is a refection of every minute of those 4 quarters. Canyon played a good strong 4 quarters of football and the outcome showed it. I like it. Everybody talkin about La Habra and Fullerton. Keep it up while the Knights quietly take care of business. I know, we lost badly to Dana Hills. Chalk it up to first game jitters? We beat Santa Margarita after being down 26-14. We beat Canyon and we didn’t even play that well. We also beat Tustin. Foothill could easily wind up #1 if the boys will stay focused.

footballpaul….you can say that you guys didn’t play well against canyon, but you played against the second string linebackers in the second half of the game. Our middle went out with a broken thumb, and outside had a rolled ankle. We didn’t play all that great either, look at the turnovers. I’ve seen film of you guys against Tustin, and I don’t recall seeing 32 on the field. So don’t talk yourself up and jinx your team. I would agree with FUHSD FAN in that Case is a class act. He could’ve punched the ball in again at the end of the game, but he took a knee and gave the ball back. That is classy, and I tip my hat.
fullerton needed a coin flip to be seeded becuase they cryed to cif about troy having a player that wasnt supose to been playing and then painted there own lockers and blamed it on troy ps la habra will never forget that

Fullerton is still hated in the league for what they did last year to eliminate Troy and win league because of a coin flip. I haven’t seen any of their players wear that patch. They are smarter than I thought. Their AD and coach still uses a golf cart to get around. I’m surprised he hasn’t dropped of a heart attack. What a poor excuse for a varsity football coach..Go La Habra!
as far as i can see, mr sayman seems to be missing the point that La Habra is a stuck up, overrated school with a great football program but absolutely no class what so ever….fullerton is a school with 100 years of pride and tradition while GuadaLa Habra is just now starting to get more looks than they ever have before. dont get me wrong, LH has one hell of a football program, but besides that I see no pride in any of them!!! FUHS and LH will be a game for the ages and no matter the outcome, lets all just take a second to pray that the parents and fans (the ones with the least amount of class out of the bunch) dont lose their minds AGAIN and start throwing beer and tequila bottles at Fullerton after the game…should be a great game though!

As the OLD story goes, (and it will live forever in the small-minded!), the Troy COACHES and AD made the mistake . They are at fault. NO students are to blame. Done deal. And if Fullerton only relied upon the “coin-flip”, how did they win all the games to get to CIF? Duh?
And they have continued to play with determination and heart this year.
This is getting quite old.
As far as Mr. Allain goes, what good team out there doesn’t rely on great players? They have awesome RB’s that are ready to step up at any time. What does La Habra have besides Hillman and Quezada? Every team focuses on its strengths and top senior players. And don’t dismiss the passing game. The Indians are ready and can adapt. Surprises are in store for all.
It will be interesting to see the outcome of the LH v. Troy game tomorrow night. Will the Highlanders take the high road and go easy on their “sideline buddies” from Troy? How much love will be on that field at the end of the 4th?

I am absolutely stunned by these rankings. This is not right by just baseing the standings off a “win loos record”, La Habra put up a great fight against Los Al and San Clemente,and they totally proved themselves as a dominant football force in the county.They have also demolished their other opponents, and which should play into this standings picture.Their defense is a huge strong point for this team, and they should easily be able to conquer the Michael Allain Indians. If I were the Fullerton coaches, I would be thankful that its fire season again.
With the exception of Western (a 24-7 loss) none of Valencia’s opponents this season currently have winning records (a combined 10-20). Cypress seems to have had their number in recent years and should be a good test for them.
Well then, GOD BLESS Michael Allain and all his Indian TEAMMATES.
Is there an I in T E A M? He would be the first one to tell you all that his offensive line is what allows him to do his thing! And I think having a solid defensive line kinda helps too. Its all about the TEAM — all the boys that collectively play to WIN, TOGETHER!
