Here are updates for the Sea View and South Coast leagues:
Sea View League
Trabuco Hills (2-3) was the preseason favorite to repeat, but the Mustangs got off to a slow start. They could still make a run for the league title. Foothill (4-1) is the favorite. The Knights lost to Dana Hills in the season opener but are on a four-game winning streak. Foothill will visit Trabuco Hills on Oct. 31. Huntington Beach and Northwood should fight for the third playoff spot.
South Coast League
Mission Viejo (5-0) and Tesoro (5-0) are guaranteed locks. They will play for first and second place Friday. San Clemente (5-0) and Dana Hills (3-2) also play Friday. The winner takes the inside track for the third playoff spot.

Damien,
Thanks for the south coast recap. You may want to contact the league schools and let them know that all other games do not need to be played as you have already placed the teams for CIF.
keep up the great work
“Football will visit Trabuco Hills on Oct. 31″ Does that means that Trabuco will have byes until then?
Did Damien actually get paid to write crap like this? When I read the headline I expected break downs of the leagues. Is there anything he wrote that’s insightful? or something we don’t already know?? Wow!
I saw Damian…… on the sidelines last week at the La Habra game, all he wrote about was …….how La Habra didn’t get it done, how they had there chances. What he should of wrote is how good the San Clemente defense is! A well balanced offense with a bunch kids just getting it done. Damian Calhoun…. I just don’t know about that guy?????
