Last week, Newport Harbor beat Mira Costa of Manhattan Beach, the team that beat Esperanza. Before taking a bye last week, Edison beat Mater Dei two weeks ago. These teams have a great deal in common – consistent offenses, quick and sure-tackling defenses. Look for Edison to win a close one.
