OC Varsity ~ High school sports talk by the staff of the Orange County Register

Servite has sold all of its tickets for the Mater Dei game

October 7th, 2008, 12:53 pm · 7 Comments · posted by STEVE FRYER, ocvarsity.com

Your next opportunity to buy tickets comes next week. Mater Dei will sell its allotment of tickets Monday though Wednesday of next week Those tickets will go fast. So call MD — 714-754-7711 — before you go to Mater Dei to get tickets.

The game will not be moved from Cal State Fullerton to another location. The game has no local TV at this time — but maybe we can all apply some pressure and get some live TV of the game.

So how do we apply pressure to get TV coverage? This is going to be an epic battle. Records, rankings, nothing matters in this game when these two school strap up the pads.

Edison Field sure looks good about now

Contracts have been signed and all with FSN Prime Ticket — but maybe some local TV folks will jump on this.

  • Kevin says:

Why would Servite and Mater Dei agree to a small venue, they know that this match up attracts thousands of people. I thought for sure it would be at Angel Stadium if they didn’t make it passed the first round. Both schools and the CIF just lost a lot of potential revenue. And to top it off it won’t even be on FSN Prime Ticket, this is ridiculous.

will cox 3 air the game and how can we put pressure on them since the game will be a sell out?

  • Frankie says:

so what’s the deal, is it going to be on FSN prime ticket? or not on tv at all right now?

  • Keke says:

So any suggestions on how to get tickets? We have students that would like to go to their game but understand servite tickets were sold in blocks… Why were’t limits placed - so the students could attend the games….

  • mike says:

Servite says no blocks were sold, but a lot of the boys didn’t get a single ticket.
