i think la habra should be number 1 this week and every other because look who we played los alamitos thats a very talented squad and we barely we could have won if we wouldnt of had those turnovers so i think fullerton should still be number fullerton played brea come on brea thats horribleee

It’s starting to look that way! I bet if we beat San Clemente (D-1) next week, maybe just maybe we get to stay in the top 5 in the South west Div.

dude deefend no one is talking trash on san clemente, that person was saying if they beat san clemente who is a d1 school. learn to read, i guess i can accept this for now, la habra did have a lot of turnovers, and they shouldnt beat anyone like that, if it wasnt for the defense it would of been a total blow out, so well just have to wait till november 7th. which im sure everyone is looking forward to

You gotta be kidding giving Fullerton #1 over La Habra. Their 4-1 record is not indicative with who they are which is a team that cannot and WILL not beat La Habra. At best Fullerton should be #4 behind Valencia and Foothill. Whoever put this listing together is dreaming and is clueless about this division.
It should be 1. Foothill 2. La Habra 3. Valencia 4. Fullerton
Canyon beat Fullerton…Foothill beat Canyon.
Foothill lost to Dana Hills in week zero…and beat Santa Margarita in week 2. La Habra lost to Los Alamitos last week. Fullerton’s inflated ranking is purely based on their win over El Dorado.
Was at the LH-LA game. LA was a far better team and blew the doors off La Habra. When you get blown out like that a team is gonna drop, even though it was a loss to a top Pac-5 team. Sure the game ended up 28-21 but that was after LA stopped playing. Typicall for HS football games though. Most kids don’t know how to finish and go into “cruise mode”.
What I did notice is how fanatical the La Habra fans are, borderline scary (in a bad way).
Do I think La Habra is the best team in this division YES! LH should beat Fullerton but it might be a close game because these coaching staff’s know each other so well.
Foothill and La Habra should meet up in the finals. (Bases on on-field performance). Interested where El Dorado and Trabuco will finish this year. El Do is so young but getting better and Trabuco is getting guys healthy after injuries.
el dorado will prevail. they couldve easily beat Valencia and Fullerton. The score in the Tesoro game doesn’t show how close the game actually was. They have some tough games ahead.

We deserve to be ranked in our division as number 1 or 2 behind la habra. Fullerton and La habra have been representing our league all this year and last year as well. We all know Fullerton and La Habra are the two strongest candidate for this division to meet once again in the CIF finals!!!!!

First of all Valencia lost to western 21-7 i believe, we beat western so how could you place valencia in front of us??? about foothill dont know much about them… but will C what there made of in the playoffs when they get to face some one from the Freeway League… Foothill just pray its not Fullerton or La Habra!!!!!! Fullerton and La Habra R the teams to beat in the this division!!!!!!

Good analogy Southwest King!! You must really study the sport. Did you honestly think that LA was far better than La Habra?? And no team goes into “cruise mode” when the opposing team is coming back. They go into the “hang on” mode and hopefully the clock runs out before the other team catches them. That was Los Al. You just don’t want to admit that a team that the paper called “mid-level” could hang with the almighty pac-5 team Los Al. Yeah… Barnes told his team “hey guys, they’re coming back. Lets start to cruise.”
HAHA. I’m sorry to say but Fullerton over La Habra? I can’t wait for that match up to make game of the week so everyone tunes in for the blow out. La Habra by at least 2 touchdowns.
All of you are forgetting that just a year ago the freeway league was in a lower division…which means that they played lower quality teams. Study up on the other leagues before you say that the freeway league has the two best teams in the division.
Hold on a second guys. Lets analyze this…
Foothill has beaten a division one school don’t forget also they’ve beaten Canyon who beat Fullerton.
Now that their offense starting to work, i would expect a lot of things out of this team.
The defense on foothill has always been a powerhouse too. Defense wins championships.
La Habra is a very good team and I wouldn’t count them out of possibly winning the CIF championship this year even though they just moved up a division.
My opion, 1-2 Foothill La Habra No particular order.
Im a HS football fan that is enjoying the watching Fullerton and La Harba play. Regarding the La Harba-Los Al game. Los Al beat La Harba. The only reason La Harba came back was because Los Al put their second teams in because they were winnign by 3 touchdowns going into the fourth quarter. Dont get me wrong La Harba looked good against Los Al but Los Al is just too strong. I think Fullerton is number one because they have bet El Do and Western which were number 1 and 2 when they played them. I’ve seen both teams play and Im telling everyone that Fullerton is a tough team. If La Harba is overlooking them they need to circle Nov. 7th because Fullerton is playing like they are preparing for La Harba. They had a tough preseason (well every team other then Brea) and they are 4-1. La harba has beat good teams too. All I can say is I can’t wait for Nov. 7th…….FYI La Harba beware Fullerton is playing with chip on it’s shoulder because of last years finals….

You know coming from a dad who out there at the practice field alot and an active booster member its pretty sad to see some of the trash you are all talking. We know what our boys are about. I for one know coach doesnt teach them to make snide comments. He always tells them to take it out on the field.
FYI not all LH fans are like the idiot who there the water bottle. That person doesnt belong.
Same for some students that were trash talking.

As a person who actually GOES to fullerton high i must say that although our team is a tough team, im not sure if we deserve the number one ranking, i think second place is much more accurate for the indians.
As for the nov 7th game, it will definitely be a close one. Fullerton is small but will beat you with the combination of their speed, how hard they hit, and michael allain. La habra is a damn good team too with hillman and their new running back. It will definitely be a great game tho.
Its true La Habra should be in the #1 spot. They are a great football team which will most likely make the CIF championship once again.

first off los all never had any second string players in moron!! coach barnes was craping his pants since the opening drive!! any one who was at that game and has a clue about football knows los al got there but handed to them! LH turned the ball over 5 times and still barley beat LH by 7 points! los al was OK Clark Evens was amazing! he rushed for 108 yrds with 1 TD and made every 3rd down conversion for Los Al !! but lets not forget about LH’s offense! LH QB Nygryn had 104 yrds rushing with 3 TD’s, LH running back Quezada had 120 yrds rushing, and ronnie hillman still had 155 all purpose yrds! los al only made LH punt 2 times the whloe game! LH turned the ball over 5 times and each time was on well executed drives shoving it down there throats ready to score! look at the tail of the tape! FIRST DOWNS LH 18, Los Al 16…RUSHING yrds LH 253, Los Al 150….PASSING LH 100 yrds, Los AL 150.. EVENS was 14 for 25 passing NYGRYN was 6 for 10…..LH total Offense 355 yrds,Los Al 310yrds! plus Los Al had the ball 6 min more than LH…It took Los Al 4 trys to get the ball in the endzone against Lh deffense from the 1 yrd line and still that call was questionable.. lets not forget about the 2 BS pass interference calls that put Los Al with in the 10yrd line twice! simple fact Los Al didnt win that game LH gave it to them! 5 turn overs wont get you a “W”! but yet LH was still with in & points! and you dont think barnes is that stupid to put his second stringers in the start of the 4th QTR against an offense who dominated them the whole freakin game! give him more credit than that! And Fullerton U can have the number 1 spot… If LH is the better team nov 7thwell get that spot back if not we will C u in the finals!! and if you really want to beat LH You better bring more than you brought last year! case closed……good luck to all you teams this year we all work hard and deserve lots of credit!!
BOTH TEAMS (FULLERTON AND LA HABRA) HAVE A LOT AT STAKE IN NOVEMBER, AND AFTER LAST YEARS TROY DEBACLE THERE IS A LOT OF ANIMOSITY COMING INTO THIS ONE, BOTH TEAMS ARE VERY TALENTED BUT I THINK COMING IN LA HABRA WILL HAVE THE EDGE BECAUSE THEY HAVE A LOT OF WEAPONS, BUT AT THE SAME TIME ALLAIN FROM FULLERTON IS A BEAST, RUNS HARDER THAN ANYONE I HAVE SEEN THIS SEASON. BUT IF FULLERTON BRINGS IT I THINK THEY HAVE A CHANCE BUT IT WILL COME DOWN TO THE MORE PHYSICAL TEAM.

I was sshocked to see Fullerton over La Habra in the rankings. They should be no where close to #1.How can a school be ranked that high that has played and beat other schools that have a combined total of 5 wins and 13 losses be ranked #1. We are now half way through the season rank them according to how they have done against the teams they have played and there records. They have one impact player, it takes more than 1 to make a team.
sayman im all about la habra, but allain is pretty legit, i dont doubt our defense can contain him, but hes the real deal. hes one of the top running backs in oc no doubt
