No. 24 Loara (3-0) vs. Anaheim (2-1)
Thursday, 7 p.m., at Glover Stadium
Preview: It has been a big week for the Saxons.
First, they rallied for a 31-15 victory over Sonora, and then on Manic Monday (Rankings Day) the Saxons found out they were ranked No. 9 in the CIF-SS Southwest Division and No. 24 in the OCVarsity.com Top 25.
They're slowly taking over the city of Anaheim. Their season started with a victory over Savanna, then Sonora last week.
Running back Anthony Bautista has been key to Loara's success. He has rushed for 373 yards in three games.
Anaheim is a one-point loss to Katella away from being undefeated. The Colonists defeated Rancho Alamitos, 34-7, last week.
Mike Reyes is the name to remember. The senior has rushed for 339 yards in three games.
These teams appear to be similar. And you can't look at the homefield advantage since these teams share Glover Stadium.
LOARA ALL THE WAY
good luck on this on loara lol wish you the best and hope you guys can prove yourselves to be a real contender
first of all they've played absolutely nobody. second, win more than 1 game in the empire league, which they won't this year, and then i'll be convinced that they've done something other than beat up a powder puff non league schedule.
Hey All,
Loara is 4 real!!! This team is solid on both sides of the ball. Very fast on special teams and more than a few weapons on offense. Look out Colonists, ya better bring your "A" game coach BOOHER!!! Oh yeah, congrats on the news of a new baby on the way. Anyway, if the Saxons stick to what got them here they should end up with another "W" and go, dare I say {4-0} oh yeah!!! let's get the wins now, cause the last four are gonna be tough. C Ya at Glover this Thursday PM, it's gonna be a WAR!!! We are LOARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO SAXONS!!!!!!!!!
loara has no chance wit Kennedy (league)
so loara if u goes undefeated facing kennedy
dont be surpise that kennedy is gonna give u a "1" in the "L"
Forget the past, this is a good team! Don't think they beat no-one, Sonora was 2-0 and Savanna will win plenty in their league. As for Kennedy, Loara will beat them, and Katella, and Cypress. Valencia and Pacifica will be the toughest. Loara's junior class buried [35-7] an undefeated Kennedy fteam as frosh to win league title and combined with some key seniors will be have a real shot to make CIFplayoffs. No chance with Kennedy? You have no idea.
