Week 3: By the numbers

Here is a recap of the action from week 3, according to the numbers.

42 - Consecutive points scored by Newport Harbor in Friday's 42-13 victory over Corona del Mar in the Battle of the Bay.

2 - School records set by a pair of Mission Viejo Diablos. Quarterback Allan Bridgford set a new school record with 442 passing yards and Kevin Chandler's 235 receiving yards also moves him to the top in the school record book.

160 and 2 - Total yards and touchdowns recorded by Foothill running back Ben Douglas as the Knights defeated Canyon, 27-14. Douglas was replacing starter Robert Daniel who was out with the flu.

303 - Passing yards for Santa Margarita quarterback Ryan World to lead the Eagles to an 18-14 victory over La Costa Canyon.

171 - Rushing yards for Fullerton running back Michael Allain as the Indians rallied to a 21-13 home victory over Western.

14.6 - Average per carry by Fountain Valley's Kyle Middlebrooks (176 yards on 12 carries) in Friday's 48-14 triumph over Aliso Niguel.

22 - The length of the game-winning field goal kicked by Valencia's Jesse Sandoval to give the Tigers a 17-16 victory over rival El Dorado and more importantly, returned The Bell back to Valencia.

686 - Total yards by Magnolia running back Robert Cruz in consecutive games. Cruz has recorded consecutive 343-yard rushing performances.

205 - Receiving yards by Darryl Jenkins (Los Alamitos) in Friday's 28-14 nonleague victory over Long Beach Wilson.

5 - Touchdown passes by Tesoro quarterback Robbie Picazo as the Titans trounced Cabrillo High of Long Beach, 52-7.

31 - St. Margaret's consecutive winning streak after its 42-26 victory over Whittier Christian.

352 - Combined rushing yards by Tustin's Anthony Wilkerson (202) and Ameer Webb (150) as the Tillers ran over Centennial of Compton, 69-28.

291 and 5 - All-purpose yards and touchdowns recorded by La Habra's Josh Quezada as the Highlanders defeated Westminster, 52-7.

403 - Total rushing yards for Segerstom in its 49-29 triumph over Santiago.

5 - Combined rushing touchdowns by Anaheim's Mike Reyes (3) and Luis Amaya (2) in Friday's 34-7 victory over Rancho Alamitos.

31 - Consecutive points scored by Loara (after falling behind 15-0) in its 31-15 victory over Sonora.

3 - The number of victories for JSerra so far this season.

33.7 - Average per carry by Santa Ana Valley's Darius Nacoste (135 yards on 4 carries) against Saddleback.

215 and 8 - Rushing yards and touchdowns (4 passing and 4 rushing) recorded by Liberty Christian's Sammy Salgado in a 46-32 victory over LA Price.
