Nice to see the Indians make a move up the board. Now, if we could have that Canyon game back!!! 11 penalties didn’t help us in that one. Big win over El Dorado last week for us. El Dorado is a very good team but in the end, we were much too physical for them. That game was won in the trenches. This division is shaping up quite nicely, Indians have a big game against Western this week, looking forward to seeing a great Western team as well. As always, La Habra is good, can’t wait for that one either!

Western had there ups and downs.. but they fena be number one after this week… La Habra is tough, Canyon we beat, and Fullerton beat former number one El Dorado… Its gonna be good, we’ll see who ends up at the top in the end… The ranking doesn’t really matter, what matters is what happens on the field and what team wants it more… Western has been more focus than ever… We’ll be ready this week!!!
Yeah, we lost to Canyon, a good team, we played a bad game, big deal. Western is a good team, it’ll be a great game and looking forward to it. By the way dee, I can see the quality education you are receiving at Highlander High. The sentence we play “to div 1 teams…” should be two division 1. And if you are going to call me an idiot, spell it correctly.

Tustin should get love at 0-3 because they always play a heck of a pre-league schedule. WIlkerson is the real deal when he is healthy, and so is Amir Webb(10.7or8 in the 100m). O-Lu coaches say that was one very fast defense they played last week. Tustin could go 3-7 and still make a run in the playoffs. It’s the Miller way.

My question: IsLa Habra now in Southwest division for p/o seedings?Last yr, the Fwy lge was in the Southeast divison which LH won.
According to recap of LH vs SH game, South Hills was ranked #1 in the Southwest division. However, now SH is ranked #3 in the Southeast division. It appears that the OC Register beat writer may have listed SH ranked #1 in the Southwest divison in error, SH was #1 in SW division but actually was #1 in SE & is now #3.

I made the fix on Pacifica (thanks for the heads up). Also, to clarify, La Habra is top seed in the Southwest Division and South Hills is No. 3 in the Southeast Division.

the game was fought long and hard but the referees completely ignored the fact that fullertons offensive line practically tackled the western defensive line and that westerns coaches were basically out coached (kinda like the pacifica game last year) the coaches froze and blamed the kids but whatever and its too bad cause they wont get past the first or second round because the offense is so one dimensional. And why in the heck on third and 19 would you run an inside trap?
I saw the Western O and D lines getting manhandled, just like El Dorado. It was fairly close in the beginning, but Western has too many guys going both ways on the line to compete with the physical play of the Tribe. A cheesy “late hit” call on Fullerton at the end of the 2nd quarter put Western in position to take the lead 13-0. Second half…all Indians plain and simple. Western is a good team though, I think they will beat El Dorado. November 7 can’t come soon enough for the Tribe.
