Week 2 provided a lot of big offensive performances. This week’s selection had one of those big nights.

The Week 2 star of the week is …

David Espino, San Clemente, Jr., running back

Espino scored four touchdowns (three rushing, one receiving) as the 10th-ranked Tritons defeated Trabuco Hills, 41-7.

Espino got the Tritons rolling early with a pair of touchdown runs in the first quarter. He added his touchdown reception in the second quarter and his third rushing score in the third quarter.
