Steve Fryer ranks the 11-25 teams in Orange County. Here are his teams 21-25:
21. Foothill (Sea View) 1-1
Fryer's comment: Sure, turnovers helped the Knights beat Tustin, 21-6. Good teams take advantage of turnovers.
22. Kennedy (Empire) 1-1
Fryer's comment: After a great comeback victory over Tustin, the Irish were mauled by El Dorado, 42-7. That's a momentum killer.
23. Fullerton (Freeway) 1-1
Fryer's comment: The Indians needed a victory after losing to Canyon, and got one with a 33-16 victory over La Mirada. Let's see how they do this week against El Dorado.
24. Cypress (Empire) 0-1
Fryer's comment: Mater Dei 49, Cypress 7. Results like that keep my voicemail and e-mail free of whacky assertions that top mid-division programs are on a level with top upper-division programs.
25. St. Margaret's (Academy) 1-0
Fryer's comment: The road to 14-0 started with a 69-0 victory over Mammoth. Next shutout: Friday at Army-Navy of Carlsbad.

I'm so glad to see St. Margaret's in the top 25. They deserve it just as much as anybody else. They wrok just as hard as any team in Orange county. They may not have the size and strength as the division 1 teams but they have just as much heart.
STM is overratteddd. just wait until they hit the wall that is Whittier Christian.
NEXT WEEK SEPT 26 7PM @ St. Margaret's
I guess we will see if the wall is hit or dodged.

no way st margarets wins this game.. they play softies all year and we have been preparing for this game since summer.. this is our championship.. they better be ready because we arent army navy or mammoth or CVCS we are Whitter Christian!!!! bring your A Game

Hey James, im glad to see that all those kids are "yours" im sure if they heard that they would be excited to know that you own them.. please make yourself visible near the endzone on friday so after we score we can make sure and look at you.. By the way, thank you for giving us a printout to motivate us anymore..

Whittier Christian has a history of talking a lot of smack before games vs SMES. It seemed to work well for them the last two years considering theyve never beaten St. Margaret's in football.
