A lot of movement in this week's poll. University and Santiago jump up three spots. Westminster falls four spots and Orange drops six spots after a loss.
1. Laguna Hills (Pacific Coast) 1-0
2. Garden Grove (Garden Grove) 1-0
3. University (Pacific Coast) 2-0
4. Santiago (Garden Grove) 1-0
5. Corona del Mar (Pacific Coast) 2-0
6. Westminster (Golden West) 0-1
7. Mayfair (Suburban) 0-2
8. Beckman (Pacific Coast) 2-0
9. Norwalk (Suburban) 2-0
10. Orange (Golden West) 0-1
Others: Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove) 1-0; Ocean View (Golden West) 1-0; Santa Ana (Golden West) 1-0; Irvine (Pacific Coast) 1-1; Bellflower (Suburban) 0-2; La Mirada (Suburban) 0-2; Segerstrom (Golden West) 1-1
GGL in the top 5? Have the coaches gone mad? Oh wait, that's right, the Empire league is out of the southern diivision.
Uni #3 please they had a tough time with northwood.
Segerstrom is 1-1, not 0-2. Granted they beat Century, but a win is a win
Thanks for fixing the Segerstrom win-loss so quick.
Uni #3 thats right, they might not have even close to the same team as last year, are scoring less, and the games are closer, but they are still 2-0 on the season and during innercity play, i dont care how good or bad northwood is when its city rivalry that all goes out the window, Uni's ready 2 repeat last year just watch
Uni is going to brek your heart then...
Brek? Never heard of the word, and I know them all!
The fact that the Northwood score was 20-18 is not indicative of the game itself. Take away Uni's fumble on its own 18 on the initial kickoff and the 84 yard kickoff return -- and the two knees Uni took inside Northwood's 10 at the end of the game -- add on Uni's 306 yards and 13 first downs vs. Northwood's 131 and 5, and you get a better picture of the game.
Glad you noticed the typo Webster use your brain and just add the A you know what i mean...
Daddyman thanks for the stats you are right i do see a better picture. I hope uni can execute better and keep its rating.
You and me both
didnt uni not want to play laguna hills last year during the wildfires? oh yeah they didn't
