JSerra got a vote? Come on, don’t mess with them like that. So they beat HB, big deal, they might as well have beat Marina.
Oh come on. Bishop Amat just beat the number 1 team and you have them last???
AND BEHIND JSERRA???? GET REAL!
is esperanza really not a top 5 team? theyve been playing lights out defense…seriously i think u should reconsider these rankings.
Mission is scoring 50 pts. per game and they’re only ranked 5th. Get real. Mater Dei is really overrated and the real Orange Lutheran showed up last week.
Dana Hills not in the Top ten??
You might change your mind after friday.
I don’t believe Mater Dei is over rated. So Mission is scoring 50 per game. Barley and company put up 49 in the first half and then sat down. Until Mission plays a top team they are about where they should be. If anyone has a gripe it’s probably Servite. Clovis West is a power house and beating them was no small accomplishment. I’d love to see how Mission would fair against them. O.L. only needs to hold onto the football. They are still a team to be reckoned with. The Pac 5 is anyone’s for the taking but your going to have to beat Mater Dei to earn it.
The best thing about the Pac 5 is other then the Moore league every other league will provide some type of balance for the better teams and they will all get to play each other. And when the playoffs start then the fireworks begin! I firmly believe that the Pac 5 is the best High School division in the country. The fact is we don’t know if the road to the finals goes through MD or not. Will Poly’s lack of a passing game catch up to them or MD’s lack of a running game. How good is Edison and Los Al? We will see as they all get to pound each other in league, the depth of the division is awesome this year and there is no clear cut favorite which makes it all the more interesting. This week we have Newport and Poly, we will see if Newport’s Seniors have learned how to play with Poly after 2 games last year. And before people go crazy remember that Newport scored more points in 1 playoff game as all the other teams combined against Poly last year, we’ll see what happens?
I agree jserra is horrible they beat a team I played two years ago in passing league by 50 haha!
bishop amat is legit should we way higher
This all comes down to LB Poly, Edison, MD and Servite. Watch for Edison to beat Servite and MD in the next two weeks. Now, who mentioned Dana Hills?!?! Outch!
Edison got nervous when Dana scored the second TD and the score was 7-6. That’s when Edison started piling on penalties. The intimidation worked and Dana started to make some silly mistakes like losing the ball twice with less than ten yards to go. I predict that Dana willl be a psychologically different team in two weeks and surprise Newport Harbor with a win. Edison will take Mater Dei, for sure.
St. John Bosco, is looking good. Don’t count them out. Keith Price, 2008-09 Trinity league MVP.
