This week's selection has endured a couple of tough seasons. However, things appear to be turning around for him and his school's program.
The OCVarsity Offensive Star of the Week is ...
Sean Schroeder, Dana Hills, senior, quarterback
Schroeder, who has committed to Duke, continued his fine start to the season as he completed 21 of 24 passes for 333 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Dolphins in a 56-21 home victory over El Toro.
Schroeder, a three-year starter, has the Dolphins off to a 2-0 start, one year after going 1-9-1. This season, Schroeder has completed 34 of 46 passes (73.9 percent) for 586 yards and seven touchdowns.
There is a request on the Dana Hills team Web site asking for help on the history of the program. Well, the Dolphins might be on the verge of making some history this season.

The Dana Hills Dolphins will show the league what
should have been the last few years. Some of these boys
have played together since Patriot Football. 35 returning seniors and loads of talent. Go Dolphins.
I really like Schroeder. He is off to impressive start but the real tests are coming.
Grats Dana. I like what I see so far. Schroeder is hitting the marks, two receivers with over 100 yards, St. Clair and Denso, and top it off with a scoop of rushing by Giesen for 172 yards.
But, as Dan Albano pointed out, "the real tests are coming."
Did I just agree with Dan? Is there a doctor in the house, I'm not feeling well,
Good luck Dana!
