Year after year the Register does high school football polls for rankings in the county.I think they should have a separate pole for ranking a team within their respective league. And another for highest ranking league in the county. I would pick the Trinity league as the league to beat for obvious reasons. They have a proven track record. I would look at the previous season or two each team in the league has and consider how the team might fair for this upcoming season. In the Trinity league Servite high has the best odds in a Vegas gambler’s point of view. But the polls as of recent years keep the league champions of the top league in the county an underdog. Is the Register trying to motivate the Friars year after year to prove them wrong. That is just one reason why us friars are so strong. That is just one reason why we try so hard. There were less than 140 in my graduating class at Servite. 140 battle ready warriors!
