The Lancers, ranked No. 2 in the county are minutes away from beginning their 2008 season. First up are the Bullard Knights of Fresno. Orange Lutheran has two starters out tonight, defensive end/tight end Mike Arakelian (sprained knee) and wide receiver/defensive back Davonte Anderson (broken collarbone).

Bullard won the toss but has deferred. Up for the anthem. I’m joined by my Register colleague Mark Garcia who is covering the game for the Fresno Bee. This should be fun.
