Outlook: Fullerton got hot at the right time of the season in 2007, and rolled into the Southeast Division final in which the Indians lost to Freeway League rival La Habra. The Tribe should be strong again, with running back Michael Allain back from an outstanding year in which he rushed for 2,091 yards and 20 touchdowns. Canyon running back Tubotein Taylor does not have Allain’s statistics – Taylor played receiver last year – but he has potential. He set the county record in the 400 this past spring. How long will it be before we start calling him Turbo Taylor? Look for an entertaining, high-scoring game, with Canyon’s defense leading the way for the Comanches.
