One of the more interesting football notes for me in recent weeks was word from Los Alamitos coaches that Colorado quarterback-commit Clark Evans will play some defensive end in passing situations this fall.
Well, after talking to Evans recently, that might not happen after all.
“It’s not going to happen,” he said earlier this week. “Probably not.”
Evans said the Griffins worked on the scenario during the spring but he believes his teammates will handle the pass rushing duties.
That sounds smart. I didn’t like the idea in the first place.
