13. La Habra (13-0) – The Highlanders capped their undefeated 2007 by beating Freeway League rival Fullerton in the CIF-SS Southeast Division championship game.

La HabraThey have some good ones coming back, including ‘07 league and Southeast Division player of the year Ronnie Hillman, left, a junior running back/receiver who is one of the more dynamic players in the county and lines up at various positions on the field. He compiled more than 2,000 all-purpose yards and has committed to San Diego State. Running back Joshua Quezada rushed for 493 yards and returned two punts for touchdowns. The quarterback will be Randal Nygren, who moves over from safety where he was all-league. La Habra has three returning starters on the offensive line. And, as usual, the Highlanders should be tough on defense, with all-league linebacker Joseph Casey (104 tackles, six sacks) among the returnees.

La Habra is also stepping up to the plate with a pre-season schedule that includes two D1 teams, #12 San Clemente and top ten team Los Al. Good Luck!
