OC Varsity ~ High school sports talk by the staff of the Orange County Register

Top 25 countdown: No. 16

August 23rd, 2008, 2:27 am · 4 Comments · posted by STEVE FRYER, ocvarsity.com

16. El Toro (6-6) – This should be a good offensive team, with returning quarterback Sean Kelly, who threw for 862 yards and five touchdowns in 2007 as a sophomore.

Also in the backfield is running back Andrew Wellman, who rushed for 425 yards and six touchdowns. But a potential troublesome spot could be offensive line, where the Chargers could start three juniors and only two seniors. The defense includes all-league lineman Michael Timo, who had 31 tackles and two sacks in '07. The Chargers have one of the best kickers, too, with Vince D'Amato. He kicked a 52-yard field goal last year.

"No Bull" also is the title of a great live DVD of an AC/DC concert of a few years ago, in Spain. A remastered version is out now, or is coming out in a couple of weeks. I have an old copy, but will get the new one. Highly recommended. Five stars. Crank 'er up. My neighbors listen to it -- they have no choice.
