24. Pacifica (10-3) – Southwest Division runnersup last year, the Mariners return two of their 2007 top offensive performers.
Quarterback Raymond Huizar, left, threw for 2,712 yards and 23 touchdowns last year, and running back Josh Brannon rushed for 1,506 yards and eight touchdowns while averaging 6 yards a carry. But Pacifica has some playmakers to replace, with graduation having taken ’07 Empire League most valuable player Tyler Ortiz (receiver) and league defensive player of the year Raphael Huizar (safety/receiver). Only six starters are back, so there are holes to fill.
