Fryer: Is baseball the most-difficult sport in which to win a CIF championship?

May 12th, 2008, 5:36 pm · 1 Comment · posted by sfryer

I think so … single-elimination baseball is very tough. One bad hop here, a call that does not go a team’s way there, and your entire season is finished. Every sport is a challenge, true, but baseball is the sport in which one little thing can make a huge difference.

I do agree that baseball is very tough but I think track and field has been the toughest for Orange County teams to win. Tons of events. Need different type of athletes and lots of them. Tough competition.
