The Face-Off…..Southern Section championships are set

The “unofficial” Southern Section lacrosse championships will be played Friday at Trabuco Hills High.
At 5 p.m., St. Margaret’s girls will face Palos Verdes. The Tartans defeated Los Alamitos, 12-7 for Orange County championship. Palos Verdes defeated Mira Costa, 17-13 for the North Division title.
At (approx.) 7 p.m., Foothill will face Palos Verdes. The Knights defeated the Sea Kings, 11-10 to win last year’s Southern Section title. Palos Verdes defeated Oak Park, 8-7 in the North Division final.
All of this adds up to a busy Friday night for me.
