BASEBALL

El Modena at Canyon, 3:15 p.m.
Outlook: El Modena and Canyon are tied for first place in the Century League. El Modena defeated Canyon, 3-2, in a league game last month. – Steve Fryer

Sonora at La Habra, 3:15 p.m.
Outlook: Sonora is in first place in the Freeway League, one game ahead of La Habra. La Habra beat Sonora, 5-4, when they played a league game last month. – Steve Fryer

Ocean View at Orange, 3:15 p.m.
Outlook: Golden West leader Ocean View has a two-game lead over second-place Orange, and can clinch the league championship with a victory. Ocean View defeated Orange, 4-3, in an earlier league game, part of Ocean View’s eight-game winning streak. – Steve Fryer

Foothill at El Toro, 3:15 p.m.
Outlook: El Toro is in first place in the Sea View League, one game ahead of Foothill and Trabuco Hills. El Toro beat Foothill, 2-1, in a league game last moth. – Steve Fryer

Aliso Niguel at Capistrano Valley, 3:15 p.m.
Outlook: There is a three-way tie for first in the South Coast League, with Aliso Niguel, Capistrano Valley and Tesoro all at the top with 9-4 league records. Capistrano Valley defeated Aliso Niguel, 9-4, in league play last month. – Steve Fryer

SOFTBALL
Beckman at Laguna Hills, 3:15 p.m.
Pacific Coast League
Outlook: The Hawks beat the Patriots, 9-3, in the first Pacific Coast League meeting. Beckman ace Jasmine Harrell was on a recruiting trip and missed the first game, but she will be available the rematch. — Carlos Arias

Mater Dei vs. Rosary at Clark Park, 3:15 p.m. 
Trinity League
Outlook: The Royals are one of the hottest teams in the county with a nine-game winning streak, which includes a 6-1 victory over the Monarchs. This game will decide the Trinity League championship. — Carlos Arias

BOYS GOLF
CIF Divisional at Lakewood, Tuesday, 7 a.m.
Outlook: Defending-state champion Edison must grab one of the top two slots to advance to Thursday’s final. – Jonathan Kay
