The Chargers just finished second-third-fourth-seventh in the 100 backstroke and now look in control, 128-111.
Middle ground
Trabuco Hills blazed a 1:28.27 to win the 200 free relay but the Chargers finished second-third to hold some ground. El Toro leads 112-98 going to the backstroke. ET placed first-third in the 500 free to take a 105-88 advantage into the oh-so critical 200 free relay.
Crismon goes 47
Eric Crismon of Trabuco Hills used a strong back half to beat Nick Rascon and Griffin White with a time of 47.82. Rascon touched second in 48.64 and the Chargers lead, 86-77, going to the 500 free.
Campbell Good
Conor Campbell of Trabuco Hills just claimed the 100 fly in 54.26 and the Mustangs took the event, 16-13, to cut the Chargers ' lead to 70-64.
Great White
Griffin White just punched the wall in the 50 free in a time of 21.80 seconds to help give the Chargers a 57-48 lead.
ET Gets a Big Drop
No. 2 El Toro leads No. 1 Trabuco, 28-19, after the 200 freestyle thanks in part to a large part to a giant drop from Nick Rascon in the 200 free. Rascon, a sophomore, won in 1:44.86, about a five-second drop from his season best.
