The performer who stood out the most for me was Tesoro’s Spencer Wollkind.

In a meet against Capo, the sophomore won the 200 free in a solid 1:45.07, then took the 500 free in a strong 4:38.93 and then he led off the 400 free relay with a 48.65.

Wollkind trains withs with the MV Nadadores club http://www.mvnswim.org/, so you know he trains hard. I also think he might get overlooked sometimes because of the all the big name swimmers at the club. Wollkind could surprise later this season but he does compete in some very tough events.
