CIF-SS and CIF State made a grave mistake. I have to dis agree with the Picks of San Clemente (24-3-7) and Thousand Oaks (20-4-2). La Serna has a better record at (26-3), posted the only 5 Shut-outs in the Southern Section.
La Serna also defeated Pacific of Garden Grove that Thousand Oaks Lost 1-0, and Mayfair lost to on PK’s. Thousand Oaks also lost to WestLake they did not even make CIF Playoffs, and San Clemented lost 3-0 to Campistrano Valley a sub .500 team that did not make CIF Playoffs.
The combined record of teams that beat San Clemente are (36-17-16).
The combined record of teams that beat Thousand Oaks are (53-27-14).
The combined records of teams that beat La Serna are (68-7-9).
Teams with worst records and losses to teams did not qualify for the playoffs and with losses to a common opponent.
La Serna got Screwed by CIF Royally

Play a D1 Preseason and CIF might take a look at La Serna. There is a reason these D1 schools have the losses you talk about. It is because of the level of play. Most of these ranked teams swap wins on any given day. Your record would look alot different if you played in the Excalibur Touranment or about 3 others in California I can think of. Beef up the schedule and maybe you will get a chance next year.
