We’ve received our first confirmation of a signing this morning and it’s a great one to start with:

Mission Viejo left tackle Jeff Baca (6-4, 282) signed with UCLA. Baca committed to the Bruins in June but he said signing Wednesday turned his commitment into reality and made him realize what he had accomplished. “It kind of makes everything realistic,” Baca said. “When I signed … it was crazy. It hit me.”
