I had a chance to talk to Bret Denio, who is a coach for the Explosion 18 Gold softball travel team, the other day. Denio is very connected in the county softball scene and he put together a list of 60 local players that have signed or given verbal commitments to colleges.
Denio also has created a new Web site, usatravelball.com, that was designed to be a recruiting tool for college coaches. Players can buy a one-year membership for $39. Coaches can search through the profiles, which have high school and travel ball history, GPA, contact information, videos, photo galleries and more.
Here is a look at county softball players that have signed or given verbal commitments:

Good up the good work.
Harrison should be the preview player of the year.
After last season, she deserves it.
Congrats Andrea Harrison with the scholarship
to UCLA. That’s great.
I agree with the man above me. Let’s get the
preview player of the year right this year.
Carlos, I hope you read this.
Aaron
I think you are absolutely on track here!
I did some research on Harrison.
I too believe she should be the
preview player of the year.
Last year she hit ultimate highs
1st Empire Leg.
1st team all county
1st team all Region
1st team all State
2nd team all Nation
I want to hear the story about her commitment to
UCLA. She was the only player
who seemed to wait to make
her commitment. I think we know
who deserves this honor. And it is Harrison.
Where’s the Orange League on this list?
