There will be some talk about whether Ricky Pemasa or Tyson Seneca made it into the end zone on those carries in the second quarter. Those were very close calls. That is a tough way to lose a football game.
During a season, it seems the calls that go your way or against you even out when all is said and done. And in every sport, too.
Here at Home Depot Center, two county teams lost. Servite and Orange Lutheran. But they both got this far, after winning a piece of the championship of the best league in California, the Trinity League. They are both winners, in the big picture.
Well, that’s all for this FryDay Night. Thanks again for hanging out with me. On to the finals!

I was there and those calls were too close to call from the stands, the one that wasn’t was the Orange Lutheran pass that bounced off the grass and was ruled a catch which gave them a first down on their final drive. Kudos to Poly’s defense for stopping them on the goalline, twice.
The trinity league isn’t the best league in california. The Mountain View, West Catholic, and Serra leagues are all better.
don’t forget that pass interference call mid 4th quarter…it always seems like the refs are against poly…this time, poly prevailed.
I just can’t fathom why Orange Lutheran didn’t go for the three points in the last minute of the game.
Boggles the mind.
