On first down … clock ticking … less than 30 seconds to go  … flags. Penalty: Poly, offsides. The ball is inches from the goalline.

After the refs put the ball down, the clock re-starts. Lutheran coach Jim Kunau runs on the field, yelling for a time out and he gets one, with 22 seconds to go.

And wouldn’t you know it — TV takes a timeout here, too.
