Woodbridge will forfeit Monday game

October 26th, 2007, 5:52 pm · 1 Comment · posted by OCVarsity Editor

Woodbridge will forfeit its game Monday against Trabuco Hills rather than play, and it appears as if Northwood will do the same for its game against Foothill.

Woodbridge coach and athletic director Rick Gibson said the decision was made by principals, athletic directors and football coaches from the Irvine Unified School District.

There is a hope from the Irvine schools that their Sea View League counterparts simply will allow the games to be canceled so they don’t have to take forfeits, but it is unclear if that will happen.
