Highly-recruited Mater Dei defensive end Cameron Meredith (6-5, 225) has established a top-tier of colleges he is interested in. The top-4 goes like this (and he didn’t put them in any order):
Oregon, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Arizona.
All four schools are among the 11 or so that have offered Meredith. He said he will probably take official trips to each of the four.
Surprisingly, UCLA and USC have not offered Meredith, a second-team All-County selection last in 2006. Meredith did attend a USC lineman camp.
Today, Meredith leaves for an unofficial trip to Nebraska. He has done the same with the Arizona schools.
My feel is that Meredith is still learning about all his options and will wait some time before committing. He’s definitely a senior recruit to watch this season.
